We are a Band

This is a song that tries to remember us that no matter what we have a friend that loves us so much that he died for us, and that he is always available for helping us fixing our problems. It also tries to makes us keep in mind that we are all brothers and sisters so technically we are all just a great band playing for God.

Confucianism

Is a Chinese ethical and philosophical system developed from the teachings of the Chinese philosopher Confucius It focuses on human morality and wrong action. It is a complex system of moral, social, political, philosophical, and quasi-religious thought that has had tremendous influence on the culture and history of East Asia It might be considered a state religion of some East Asian countries, because of governmental promotion of Confucian values.

The Analects

I found the Analects a really interesting reading and also I found it very inspiring because it teach us how to be happy and how to accomplished peace in our hearts and in our society. My favorite teaching that Confucius said was the one that said “To demand much from oneself and little from others is the way to banish discontent” this teaching inspires us to always give our best no matter what. Because if every Guatemalan do what it must be done to make this beautiful country a better place instead of blaming the government of things that they could perfectly have done. So in order to stop leaving in misery we must stop thinking in what am I doing tomorrow and start thinking in what I am doing today in order to honor our nation.

Panchatantra

Panchatantra is a fable that shows us that there is nothing impossible if we just believe. In this fable a rabbit, which was really small, went looking for Numskull in order to defeat him. If we look this closely killing Numskull was an epic task to the rabbit, because of his size but he did not get scare, he faced his fate and he believed in himself so he went to trick Numskull in order to kill so he told him that a bigger lion was challenging him to a fight, but instead of a lion what was waiting for Numskull was his death.

Panchatantra is a fable that really changes the way you think because it makes you realize that it does not matter if you are small or if you have any handicap. The only thing you need in order to succeed is to believe in yourself and things will work out in your life. It also shows us that you always have to run that extra mile and that you always got to believe in yourself and do what it’s right, and by doing that, because of one person’s courageous action all the kingdom was in peace. So if we step out and make a courageous action it does not matter if it is little or a big one we can accomplished great things. It does not matter if you are small, as long as you think big.
